"Been There & Done That - In Flames by Nikki Walker is the second story in 'The Tested Love series.' This was another quick read that was a page turner...once you started it you will not be able to put it down until the end. Ms. Walker works her magic once again of bringing Andrea and Zane together. These were two 'wounded souls' that were in need of a healing. Both of these two people had 'experienced a loss of a child' and were able to relate to just what was going on between them but would this be enough to strengthen their love for each other? With Andrea almost gets her property stolen and Detective Zane recovers her property...will something come of this between these two? This is where I say you must pick up this read "Be There & Done That -In Flames" to seen how this author will bring it all out to the reader. This was another good read by this author.

I liked reading this novel. Really enjoyed. I could not put the book down. I always enjoy reading Nikki Walker's books.
What a lovely story of two wounded soul's. I think Zane and Andrea make a great pair! I love a good love story.....I don't want to spoil the plot, but you won't be disappointed with this read! Happy reading!
Andrea Nicholls-Fountaine tries to fight off the feelings that she has for detective Zane Perkins. But detective Zane Perkins is not having that, he things it's finally time for her to start living while keeping her daughter's memory alive through her business.
This story started out so good then it took a left turn and never returned after the 3rd chapter. The book ventured into realm of absurdity. This is how 40 year old people act? Really. The relationship between Andrea and whatever his name is ( this is how bad the story became) was so juvenile for 2 very grown a$$ individuals. No I would not recommend this book. I am not purchasing another book written by this author.
I just finished "Been There & Done That" In Flames (The Tested Love Series Book 1) by Nikki Walker. This was a nice and simple read. Andrea and Zane's story was something different, but in a good way. One is never truly gets over with the lost of a loved one, but having someone in your life to help your recover from that lost us very invaluable. Another great job of writing by Nikki Walker.

The is the second story in the Tested Love Series that I read by Ms. Walker. I've come to realize that her stories aren't full length but feel that the contents still have an impact on the reader. The characters of Ann (Andrea) and Zane were sweet together, even though Ann was afraid to let him into her heart. Zane understood this and had the patience to wait until she was ready. They both had experienced the loss of a child and could relate in several areas which would strengthen their love. Good job Ms. Walker, thanks for the entertainment.
Andrea Fontaine seems to lose the people in her life she loves the most so when she runs into Detictive Zane Perkins in a diner. She refuses to let her guard down. When a young homeless girl tries to steal from Andrea without her knowing, the handsome Zane recovers the property before the girl could even leave the diner and he finds it is the perfect opportunity for him to get to know Andrea. Zane volunteers to help Andrea with her gift basket business so he could be close to her but once again, Andrea is trying to resist the urges going through her body of the chemistry between the two. When Zane almost loses his life in a work related accident, Andrea realizes it is now or never to let the sexy police detective know he has stolen her heart. It is then that both realize they have more in common than they orginally thought. Will Andrea let the detective completely in? One click to find out.
