This was a great gift. 3 books in 1 is always great. This way you can keep up with the series and you don't have to go hunting for all the books to complete the one you finished reading. This book was in very good condition when it arrived and I would like to thank the Goodwill store who sent it.
I was given a copy of The Postcard and was so taken with the characters and story that I couldn't wait to get the next book in the trilogy. When searching on I was delighted to see that this book contains all three in one volume! Compelling read... Interesting look into the life of the Plain people. Will definitely be looking for more books by this author!
Love this book and could not put it down util I had complete all three volumes. I would recommend this book and the author. The subject of of great interest to me, and it is written with great sensitivity and respect.
I enjoy reading Amish fiction. The books were very good.
It makes one enjoy what the Amish are about and very interesting without being to serious, and an enjoyable read.

I was unter the impression that the three books were a continuation of the people in the first two, not so. Book one and Book two are continuing but Book three has nothing whatsoever to do with the other two. I loved the first two but The Sanctuary didn't have anything to do with the first two and was not a good book in my opinion. It starts out with a girl leaving her husband and you don't know why she left for 13 or 14 chapters! This just doesn't appear to be the writing of Beverly Lewis, I love her books. The story line was just not good, it was unrealistic to me but could just be my taste or lack thereof, however you want to look at it. I am eagerly awaiting her next book and hope she goes back to her original Amish style. BB
